Pudurutalagala Hill in Sri Lanka is at an altitude of 6128 ft above the sea level and the Nuwara Eliya city is at a distance of 4.3 Km from the hill. Nuwara Eliya is called Little England as the British colonialists select this as their resting place.
This hill station is famous for its tea production as there are many tea estates. The climate happens to be very cool here.
Seetha Eliya is at a distance of 3.6 Km from Nuwara Eliya and the Seetha Amman Temple in Seetha Eliya is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Seetha. There is no doubt that a visit to Nuwara Eliya and the Seetha temple in Seetha Eliya will ensure a distinct experience of being nestled amongst nature.
Sir William Gregory, the then Birtish Governor ordered to built the Lake Gregory during 1872. It is a main water reservoir in the centre of Nuwara Eliya. The water of the lake continues to provide electricity to the city.

பல தேயிலைத் தோட்டங்கள் இருப்பதால் இந்த மலைவாசம் தேயிலை உற்பத்திக்கு பிரபலமானது. இங்கு காலநிலை மிகவும் குளிராக இருக்கும்.
சீதா எலியா நுவரா எலியாவிலிருந்து 3.6 கி.மீ தூரத்தில் உள்ளது மற்றும் சீதா எலியாவில் உள்ள சீதா அம்மன் கோயில் இந்து தெய்வமான சீதாவுக்கு அர்ப்பணிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. நுவரா எலியா மற்றும் சீதா எலியாவில் உள்ள சீதா கோயிலுக்கு விஜயம் செய்வது இயற்கையின் மத்தியில் அமைந்திருக்கும் ஒரு தனித்துவமான அனுபவத்தை உறுதி செய்யும் என்பதில் சந்தேகமில்லை.
