The Buddha Park in Ravangla of South Sikkim District, Sikkim State in India was constrcuted during the year 2006-2013 with a Buddha statue of 130 ft in its centre. The park is within the religious complex of Rabong Monastery, a centuries old pilgrimage place. Ralang Monastery is very near t to this Park. Being a Sikkim Government project, this park was built by the state government of Sikkim and its people within the complex of Cho Djo lake surrounded by forest. The statue was consecrated on 25th March 2013 by the 14th Dalai Lama on the occasion of 2550th birth anniversary of Buddha.
