191st Video of ROUNDSTUBE describes about International FLAMINGO Day 26, April சர்வதேச ஃபிளமிங்கோ தினம் 26, ஏப்ரல் As no official day celebrating the six species of flamingo currently existed, the FSG decided upon 26th April as the new International Flamingo Day (IFD). The Flamingo Specialist Group (FSG) is always looking for new ways to engage with its audiences, be they in person or online. The Singapore Zoo was initially called as the Singapore Zoological Gardens or the Mandai Zoo. It is now commonly known as the Singapore Zoo. It occupies 28 hectares i.e. 69 acres on the margins of Upper Seletar Reservoir within the heavily forested central catchment area.  Singapore Zoo was built by the fund granted by the Government of Singapore and opened on 27.06.1973. Here birds and animals are kept in spacious and landscaped enclosures which separated from the visitors by dry and wet moats. The moats are concealed with vegetation or dropped below the line of sight. The dangerous animals that can climb well are housed in landscaped glass-fronted enclosures. Many shows such as King of the Skies show, High Flyers Show, Dining with Parrot etc. are being held every day at this Zoo for the use of visitors. Here variety of Birds and Animals are found in the Zoo.   The photos depicting the places here shown are worth to visit with family and kids. Please click the subscribe button as free
